Did someone give you an unexpected gift?
Why would someone do that?
Do you just chalk it up to them being a good person?
What defines a good person?
Is it doing good things or being polite to others?
How would you answer...
WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF TO BE A GOOD PERSON?
(Most people say YES! but...)
"GOOD"
COMPARED TO WHAT?
the dictionary defines good as
"MORAL PERFECTION"
judge for yourself. are you "morally perfect"? have you ever...
STOLEN?
LIED?
LUSTED?
Well so have I.
this takes out of the "morally perfect" category and confirms what God communicated through Paul. We are NOT "good"!
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
ROMANS 3:23
OUR SINS SEPERATE US FROM GOD, AND KEEPS US FROM SPENDING ETERNITY WITH HIM IN HEAVEN.
An eternity without God
WOULD BE HELL.
THAT'S THE BAD NEWS.
For the wages of sin is death;
ROMANS 6:23
OKAY, SO HERE'S THE
GOOD NEWS.
GOD MADE A WAY TO SAVE US FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR IMPERFECTIONS.
...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ROMANS 6:23
Wow!
The creator offered me, and He is offering you, the gift of forgiveness... FREE!
SEE, JESUS LIVED A
PERFECT LIFE
HE FULLFILLED GOD'S PERFECT LAW
THAT WE COULD NOT FULFILL.
THEN...
JESUS
LAID DOWN
HIS LIFE
He broke the curse of sin, and paved a way for all of the world to be saved and spend eternity with Him!
to pay the penalty for sin on our behalf with
His Death on the Cross. Three days after his
death...
JESUS
DEFEATED
THE GRAVE
For he made Him who knew no sin to be
sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 CORINTHEANS 5:21
That's when I realized that while I wasn't "good"
CHRIST WAS OFFERING ME
HIS "GOODNESS"
All I had to do was receive this gift of salvation and eternal life
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not only of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9
HERE'S HOW YOU RECIEVE
YOUR GIFT
A
Admit that you are a sinner who
has come short of the glory of
God, and because of your sin,
you deserve to be punished
But God will demonstrate His own love toward us
in that while we are still sinners,
Christ died for us.

ROMANS 5:8
Believe that Jesus Christ died,
was buried and rose triumphantly
over death paying the punishment
for your sin on the cross.
For God loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
Should not perish but have everlasting life.
JOHN 3:16

Call upon the Lord Jesus. Repent of trusting anything but Christ alone for salvation from hell and be assured of a home in heaven forever.
That if you confess with your
mouth the Lord Jesus and believe
in your heart that God has raised
Him from the dead, you will be
saved. For with the heart one
believes unto righteousness, and
with the mouth confession is
made unto salvation
ROMANS 10:9-10
THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY BOOK THAT
OFFERS YOU A LOVING
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CREATOR OF
THE UNIVERSE.
HE'S THE
GOD WHO
LOVES YOU
enough to become part
of His creation and die
for you. no other religion
has a Resurrected Savior.
JESUS MADE A WAY TO SAVE YOU DESPITE
YOUR IMPERFECTIONS.
THANK YOU FOR ACCEPTING THIS
UNEXPECTED "PERK".
My hope is that you will also accept the
gift-the Greatest Gift of all-God's Son.
So, my next question is,
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO
REPENT AND TRUST IN
JESUS?
You know... You could ask him to be your Savior TODAY!
YOU MAY NOT
HAVE TOMORROW
GOD WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU
NOT
SURE
WHAT
TO
SAY?
Let him know that you are
sorry for the wrongs you have
done.
Let him know that you want
His forgiveness and thank Him
for sending Jesus to shed his
blood that covers our sin.
Let him know that you are
trusting in the death, burial,
and resurrection of Christ and
nothing else, not even your
own "good works," for your
salvation.
Ask him to lead you from this
day forward.
If you confess with your mouth
and believe in your heart..
ROMANS 10:9
Trusting Christ is more than just "saying a few words",
That's why it is called repentance because it is
changing the way you think and believe
IT IS A MATTER OF THE HEART.
YOU COULD MAKE ONE OF

A PRAYER FROM THE HEART:
"Dear God, I admit that I have broken your laws and am worthy of
your judgment. I humbly repent and ask for your forgiveness. I
believe that Jesus is God, that He died in my place on the cross,
and that He rode again, conquering both death and hell. I now
accept Him as my substitute and Savior. Thank you for making
me your child and reserving a place for me in Heaven
